The Santa Barbara Museum of Art offers a docent-led gallery tour. Gallery tours are informative and eye-opening. They provide an opportunity to experience and discuss a selection of artworks in a relaxed, informal setting. Gallery tours are free with Museum admission, and begin in Colefax Gallery in front of the elevator on the Main Level.
This magnificent Spanish-Moorish "palace" was built in 1929 and is surrounded by lawns and a sunken tropical garden that plays host to many functions throughout the year. The Courthouse tower offers 360 degree views of the city, mountains, ocean and the Channel Islands. Free docent tours are conducted daily at 2pm. Additional tours are conducted at 10:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. A tour information booth is located in the lobby near the main archway. The booth is open 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays and 10am to 4:30pm on weekends.

The Funk Zone tour is approximately 90 minutes long, you’ll explore the 10 square block area of Santa Barbara’s converted warehouse district now home to wine and beer tasting rooms, art galleries, and restaurants. The tours are free provided there are at least 4 people on the tour. There is a cost per person for tours with fewer than 4 people.
