Circle Bar B Riding Stable is the oldest and finest public horseback riding stable on Santa Barbara County's South Coast. For over 70 years, guests have been enjoying this coastal mountain paradise on more than 1,000 acres.
The guest ranch is located 20 miles north of Santa Barbara in Refugio Canyon on the scenic Gaviota Coast. Ride trails that take you through the coastal Santa Ynez Mountains - up fern-lined canyons, across streams, and past waterfalls to magnificent vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Barbara Channel Islands.
Circle Bar B Riding Stables offer fine riding horses for riders of all ages and sizes and provide a variety of horseback riding experiences for every level of riding ability. There are daily morning and afternoon trail rides for both adults and children.
Circle Bar B Riding Stables offers Personalized Rides, Half-Day Rides, Sunset and Sunrise Rides, Western Riding Instruction, and Group and Company Rides.

- ½ Hour Ride: Start times: 9:30am, 11:30am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm
- 1½ Day Ride: 4 hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Directions
Exit the 101 Freeway about 20 miles north of Santa Barbara at Refugio Road/ State Beach exit. Take Refugio Road 3.5 miles up the canyon into the mountains to the Ranch. Stable Parking is on the left side of Refugio Road. From downtown Santa Barbara allow 35 minutes of travel via Hwy 101 North. From Santa Ynez, Solvang and Los Olivos, travel west to Hwy 101 South.
