Santa Barbara's Old Spanish Days Fiesta is an annual community-wide 5-day festival that begins on the Wednesday before the first Friday in August.

Las Noches de Ronda, ("Nights of Gaiety") is one of the enduring traditions of Fiesta. This free event is held at the Sunken Gardens of Santa Barbara's magnificent County Court House and features dancers and musicians. Mariachis, fiery flamenco dancers, Mexican folklorico dancers in vivid regional costumes, lively vocalists, and diverse instrumental groups create an evening of Latin-flavored entertainment.

Over 200 performers entertain nightly and donate their time to this wonderful event. The performers practice each song and dance religiously in the weeks leading up to Fiesta.

Bring blankets, pillows and chairs for lawn seating! Blankets and chairs can be set up no earlier than 9am on the day of the event. Tape or ropes cannot be used to reserve a spot.
