This is a vineyard to watch.  They have added a large new vineyard to their current vineyard and expect to be growing beyond their current 19,000 cases.  They have planted many varieties of grapes and expect Syrah to be a major star for them in the future.  Their current yields include Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Marsanne, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

One of the wineries along the Santa Ynez Trail, Beckmen Vineyards is a wonderful place to stop for lunch.  Their picnic area is very nice and offers a great view of the valley. They tasted a broad range of excellent wines the day we visited, including a Cabernet Sauvignon that was another of those 'bad day fixer uppers' and a Chardonnay that smooooooth.

Directions:
Take the 101 to 154.  Follow until you reach Roblar Avenue.  Turn west.  Turn left onto Ontiversos Road and follow the signs - it's a bit twisty.
