The Sea Center

This is a must-see if you're on the wharf.

Built in 1986, the Sea Center receives approximately 70,000 visitors each year, including 7,000 school children.

Exhibits at the Sea Center include life-sized models of a Gray Whale cow and calf, a Gray Whale skeleton, aquaria with local marine invertebrates and fishes, and the popular Touch Tanks.

Open to the public seven days a week, the Sea Center invites visitors to find out more about the environment that surrounds us and makes Santa Barbara a special place.
