West Beach Music & Arts Festival
- The beach just west of Stearns Wharf transforms each September into a
three-day family-friendly music and arts festival – one of the only
festivals in the US that takes place on the beach. Music acts include
Ziggy Marley, Jason Mraz, Natasha Bedingfield, Big Head Todd and the
Monsters, Jackie Greene and more. |

Harbor & Seafood Festival - One
day each
October, from 10am to 5pm, the Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival
draws seafood lovers of all ages to Santa Barbara’s popular Harbor for
one of the community’s most unique and beloved events. |

Sandcastle Festival - The annual Santa Barbara Sandcastle
Festival is an exciting and fun way to celebrate the beautiful ocean
and beaches, two of our community's greatest natural resources.
Festival admittance is free, and the cost to compete in the
sandcastle & sculpture contest is minimal. |

Fourth of July - Enjoy Fourth of July
events throughout the Santa Barbara area, including Montecito, Goleta and Solvang.
Events include a "Spirit of 76" parade down State Street, a free concert
by the Santa Barbara Symphony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse
culminating in a spectacular fireworks show above West Beach at 9pm. |

Day Celebration - From clean-ups and hikes to fairs powered by
solar energy, people all over the United States will be making a
difference on Earth Day. The Santa Barbara Courthouse is home to the
annual Earth Day celebration on the South Coast. |

Spanish Days Fiesta - Our strong Hispanic
community and Spanish history combine to make this one of the biggest
events of the year. Wednesday to Saturday during the first week of
August. |

Summer
Solstice Parade
- The Saturday closest to the Summer Solstice is chosen for one of
Santa Barbara's unique events. People arrive early to set up lawn
chairs and secure a place on the sidewalk for this very popular event.
Each year there is a theme and anybody who can wiggle their way into
the theme can participate. |

Santa Barbar County wine festivals are a must they sell out every year. |

Festival
- The
annual French Festival coincides with
France's Bastille Day Weekend. Each year over 20,000
people are expected to attend. It is always a great weekend for
fabulous food, dancing, and a celebration of everything French.

Festival
- Since there aren't that many
Greek restaurants in town, this is one way to get your annual quota of
baklava and gyros without resorting to mail order. Other
activities include dancing.

inaugurated as a five-day event to showcase the creative talent of
people of all ages through livestock, agricultural, commercial, and

de Mayo Festival - Every year thousands of locals and tourists
descend on De La Guerra Plaza for Santa Barbara's annual Cinco de Mayo
