Greatest Dollar Menu in Goleta, 9/23/2009

El Pollo Loco has the greatest dollar menu around. I routinely eat there for under $5.00 and get four different items. Today was the side salad, quesadilla, taco, and (for a change of pace), the buffalo wings. The dollar items were killer as usual and the wings were a surprise. They were good (fried not grilled unfortunately), but the sauce was not a traditional wing sauce, but more of a mexican garlic blend. Still, I would recommend them to all who asked. It did however, take me ten minutes to explain that I only wanted drummettes and not the actual wings, that was kind of a bummer.

Custom Orders Not a Problem

I like the service here, food comes out quickly and you can watch them make it. My favorite thing to get is the BRC burrito. Delicious and cheap! I always ask them to put a lot of cilantro in it and they always do. Wonderful place to grab a quick lunch or late snack.

Hey my name is Ben from Santa Barbara, I went to El Pollo Loco today I got the 7 pieces for $5.99. Instead of putting it right away they left it sitting for a few minutes and the most of chicken was burnt but please owner or manager you need to have common sense don't burn chicken.

Good Filling Food, Good Salsa Bar

A step up from Taco run to the bathoom Bell and comparable to taco bell prices. Good sides. Nice inside area with a lot of seating. Salsa Bar always has a good variety. Unlimited Drinks.
Quick food. Healthy kids options. Only negatives were not very fresh chips and some soda selections were out.
