There are two types of fast food. In-N-Out is class 1 all others are class 2. They serve the best quality of everything and have the highest standards. They train their workers and pay them well. Don't let their posted short menu fool you. You can order burgers anyway you like them. Example this is how I order.
"a burger animal style with extra tomato, extra pickle and extra spread" (the extras are free) I love this buger and no other fast food place makes anything like it. Be smart order it the way you like it.

In-N-Out is hands down the best "fast food hamburger" restaurant around. Why would you ever get a burger from McDonalds or Jack or any of those crappy places? I was with my friend when he went through the drive-thru at McDonalds the other day and a basic burger combo meal cost him over $7!! You can STILL get a burger, fries, and a coke from In-N-Out for less than $5, and the food is sooo much better. There is always a line but the employees work very hard to get the line moving quickly. Also, the employees are extremely friendly and always speak great perfect English. You think you get that from McDonalds?? Yea right.

Sure In-n-out is a chain but I live down the street from them and I've never seen them NOT busy. Why? The service is amazing, they're so efficient and the prices are fair. Get fries well, they'll leave them in the fryer just a little bit longer so your fries will be extra crispy. Delicious! I actually really love In-n-out because their burgers are so thin. I don't like eating half a pound of meat between two pieces of bread! I love that their meat is thin and well done, the cheese is always melted on, they will customize everything to your liking and I've never, ever had a bad service experience there.

i go here once a week on my way home from college. the service is great, everyone is very friendly (for teenagers). the food is amazing, but its really unhealthy. the only thing i will get here is the basic hamburger. even that has 19 g of fat. i dont think people relize that even though its in-and-out its still just as unhealthy as mcdonalds or watever. the double for example contains 41 grams of fat. pair that with fries 19 g and milkshake 37 g and your on the way to being 300 pounds. however its clean and tastes great. just stick with the hamburger and dont go that often. on a side note , dont complain about the hamburger being thin... it tastes really good, besides a thicker burger would mean it would be less healthy.

Very good burger

If what you are after is a burger you have to eat here. Shake, Soda Fries work too. That's all they do and they do it well.
Only thing that approximates is a wendy's burger for me. The fries are sometimes hit and miss, the soda and shakes are good.
Maybe they should have chicken nuggets or something for kids but its not that kind of place I guess. Burgers consistently good and probably best fast food hamburger out there.

I'm from switzerland. i stayed in california for several months last year. believe me, i tried a lot of burger houses during this time. in my country we only know mc donald's and burger king. but In-and-out has the best burger i've ever had! i recommend a 4-by-4. that's fantastic!!!

Best Burgers

When living in California all my life I grew up on In N Out Burgers, when looking for a place to retire I found an IN N Out in Prescott, Arizona...BINGO. So I have retired there and still get the same great burgers...YUM I lived in Long Beach, Chino California Now Prescott, Az. In N Out burgers is the best burger around, Micky D's, Jacks, and Wendys are no contest for this great burger, if you haven't had one, your missing a great treat in life. You can also order your burger "animal style" grilled onions, mustard, dill pickels and cheese.... They also have the "protein burger" all the good stuff but no bun...all you have to do is say Animal Style or Protein Burger when you order and it will come that way. AAAAA+++++
