SB is Losing One of the Best
Reviewer: Jim Kobe from Evansville, IN
While inquiring about reservations at the Biltmore for the coming summer, I asked about the return of La Marina. Unfortunately, they confirmed that this excellent restaurant will not re-open. The Patio will be the only restaurant at the Biltmore, empolying the same chef who was handling both restaurants previously. Hopefully, we will all be able to enjoy some of the same fine cuisine, although the ambience of La Marina will be greatly missed.

Rest In Peace

It's a shame Mr. Warner no longer feels the need for a true fine dining experience at his Four Seasons Resort. To the few, the proud, the staff....of La Marina...best of Luck (wherever you may be)!!!!

Above and Beyond- the best!

Being a partime "local" and all of the traveling that I do as a designer, I still can say that this is my favorite place to hang out on the weekends and have some drinks, or grab lunch with some friends. I have never been dissapointed by this Zen-like restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful (panaromic ocean views), the staff is impeccable, and the food is amazing! What more could you possibly ask for??? I highly recommend this jem of a restaurant to everyone!

Total Dining Experience

If you're looking for excellent food with corresponding service in a first-class atmosphere, La Marina is your place. When my wife nad I visit Santa Barbara, this restaurant is the first place we call for reservations, whether we're staying at the Four Seasons or not. We've had the pleasure of dining there somewhere between 15 - 20 times over the years and have never been disappointed. The Sunday brunch is a bit pricey, but something that everyone should try at least once. It's in a class of its own.

This place was FANTASTIC ! !

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner to celebrate our Anniversary and early Valentine´s Day. The service and food was fantastic and we enjoyed the leisurely pace of the evening.

Really nice experience

I moved to SB from San Francisco, and this is the only place in town that has come anywhere near the better SF restaurants. Maybe it´s not consistent (I don´t know yet, but:) I went on my bday for the Wednesday night "local´s special": $37 3-course pre-fix and half priced bottles of wine. A real bargain, considering that the food was interesting and tasty, the service good, the atmosphere reasonably romantic, and the sommelier absolutely outstanding. Looking forward to going back.

Had a great time

Hi, some years back I lived in Santa Barbara and often we went for the outstanding brunch at the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel in Montecito with its very nice views, great food, lovely ice sculptures, nice atmosphere etc. I can just say for myself that I always immensly enjoyed the time I spent, the food I ate at the Four Seasons. The prettiest decorated I found it once around x-mas, I even have a picture of myself and my husband in front of that great, in gold covered x-mas tree.
