Like Burger King burgers better
Reviewer: Sally from Santa Barbara, CA
I agree with the reviewer below about food. Burger lettuce had brown spots on it, pasty looking bun. Felt a bit sick after. I wish I went to Burger King in SB. Fries NO SALT. UGGH since I ordered to go... had to eat non salty fries...tasteless.

Good Food/Kinda Rundown
Reviewer: Glenn from Buellton
I wonder if Foster Freezes were mopped as well as McDs if they would have been as successful as McDs? There were orginally more FFs than McDs at one time. The original is still in Inglewood. The food is great but the service and ambience have never been great. This place needs to have another employee working there to keep up with orders and/or be mopping the dirty floors. A nice stop for nostalgia and the food was good too, a lot better than the now gone Mesa one but I wish they had one more employee working.

great food
Reviewer: ana from carpinteria, CA
i always go there and get the fish nd chips ...and ocasionally the burgers they are great no complain. but i do complain of the sodas there..they have some weird taste so i dont get their drinks from there just the food and ice cream.! best ice cream in town tough...but the sodas i think they need a little fix...ill give it a 5 star on food once they fix the fauntain soda machine ;)

Best ice Cream cones on the beach!
Reviewer: CJ from Dallas, TX
Remember those enormous swirled ice creams cones you could lose your face in when you were a kid? Foster's still piles it on for the best apres beach refreshment. Great flavor and smooooth texture make Foster's Cones the best at C-State Beach! Been there. Done that. Will do it again and again.

Found by Chance
Reviewer: Chase from San Jose, CA
We were on our way from San Jose to LA and couldn't find any fast food visible from 101. We chanced into Carpinteria and took a chance on this Fosters. WOW! The kids liked the burgers and fries and cones so much they made me make a stop at the same place on the way home. Hat's off to the friendly folks at this off the beaten path. Nice change from the big chain places. I think we will be making this our secret stop every time we travel down 101.

The Best Place Ever!!
Reviewer: Katelyn from Carpinteria,CA
the food there is the best. I think the service is really great because they are fast when I order my food. I like to visit there everytime I go home from the beach.

Best Chili Cheese Fries in the WORLD!
Reviewer: Jessica from San Francisco, CA
I really like Foster's Chili Cheese fries. They are so good, you want to lick your fingers! And you have to get a half-half dipped cone when you are done with your fries. YUM! My boyfriend is in love with their burritos (chimichangas) and the BOSS burger (it has onion rings in the burger, that's what got him). Also, you can't go wrong with: onion rings, banana split, grilled cheese & grilled chicken sandwich.

THE ICE CREAM IS THE BOMB-DIGGITY!!

The ice cream here is the best. I like the soft serve half and half dipped!!

YUMMY YUMMY LICK MY FINGERS
Reviewer: Nate
This place has really really good soft-serve ice cream. My favorite is the chocolate soft-serve dipped in chocolate. (Vanilla dipped is also very good). The service is fast and the music is a pleasant throwback to the 50s (not that I was alive then). The people who take orders are usually very nice even though I once forgot my keys at the counter. Only tip is to grab some napkins if it´s a hot day. I was depressed moving here from Minnesota because there aren´t many Dairy Queens around here, but Foster´s is the Dairy Goddess!

Good Food and Great Service

This restaurant has great music that makes you feel like dancing. The food is exactly the way you want it. There is an unlimited varity of ice cream. The best part is the service, they are so friendly and helpful. You should stop by on your way through this beautiful town.
