We intended to go across the street to SCD but AW caught our eye. Good thing. The food was very good. The salad I had was good with strips of grilled chicken in hot sauce on top, good greens and some underripe tomato slices. My grilled chicken sandwich was great. The best part was the roll. Delicious crusty roll that soaked up that good hot sauce nicely. Service was good with friendly, jovial people.

I came here with my mother, as she was interested in some hot wings. She ordered a 6 piece of Habanero Dreamin' chicken wings that smelled amazing, and upon my sneaking a sample bite they proved to be flavorful and tender. (I'm not a hot sauce connoisseur, but that stuff was GOOD - tangy, spicy, and fragrant.) My eye was caught by something else though, and I ordered the Fish and Chips. All I can say is WOW! This is the best fish and chips I have had in a long time, thick and crisp outside with melt-in-your mouth, perfectly cooked fish inside. The fish itself was gently flaky, with a lovely texture and great taste. It came with tartar sauce and french fries, and while the fries were good, the fish had my full attention. The service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable on the food, and very attentive. I will definitely be back!

Went to A.W. on a slow Sunday evening, where do I start? First impressions, fabulous, friendly, enthusiastic staff and the young manager was fabulous. He told ms that he and two other staff members remodeled the place themselves and a job well done! The service was great, but it was very slow and there was about 8 people standing around. When it's slow a manager needs to cut staff, period. The food...fries, yummy, the wings were very fresh, nice heat, although needs more time in the fryer. Salad was fresh but not cut properly. The burger needs a lot of help! These young guys have a lot of heart but lack experience in the restaurant business. Don't ever under estimate your clients and keep your eyes on the numbers....always! Good luck guys and this is constructive criticism as I really want you guys to kick ass in the good land.
