I just noticed this truck was back in town after having been gone for a few months in SF. I was excited to try it out because I never had the chance before they left town. I got the devilled chicken and it was very tasty. The service is great and I'm glad these guys are back in town.

Was at Leadbetter beach last Saturday and came across the food trucks and decided to go for a veggie curry bun - Oh my god! It was just uhmaaazing! with curry Cauliflower, carrots and Peas with a yogurt dressing. I was so pleasantly surprised! They were really fast and courteous as well. Will be back to try more things.

chicken brat

I ate here a few weeks ago and the owners were very kind! You could tell he was a bit nervous but he was all smiles. I got the chicken bratwurst, however they apparently did not have curry sauce that day? I was disappointed because I went there specifically for the curry sauce and didn't get any :(
BUT the chicken bratwurst was absolutely delicious! Also the flat bread that they put it on is UH-MAZ-ING. I will for sure go back! (and hopefully they will have curry sauce next time!)

I went to Culture Shock today for lunch and I have to tell you this truck did NOT disappoint. I got the combo Rocos - with one chicken and one bratwurst it was delicious. The owners were so NICE he even brought out a table and chair for us to set on from the truck. I would defiantly come back and try other items on the menu. Everyone should check them out.

Good Food, Nice People

This one has some of the best "food truck" food I have tasted in SB. The Rocos were great(think spiced chicken in a naan bread like taco). I'll definitely be back to try other things. The food is from Sri Lanka so except some similarities to Indian food.

Favorite Food Truck So Far

First I liked Burger Bus, then O Street Truck, but after having Culture Shock I think it takes the title (if price is not considered). For $8.50 you get a curry plate that is a good helping (I had heard it was on the small side but mine was just right). The chicken was delicious, and the rice and dahl were a great complement. The owner was friendly, the food came fast, and it was easy to take back to the office. Great food. At this price point it won't be on regular rotation, but more as an every now and then thing it kills it.
