HITCHING POST CELEBRATES 65th ANNIVERSARY

The Legacy lives on. The Ostini family and staff will be celebrated their 65th year in business at the original Hitching Post on May 1st. It all started in 1952, when their parents Natalie & Frank Sr. purchased the restaurant with his brothers Vic and Bill. I’m told that, over the past six decades, the Hitching Post has garnered a reputation for excellent food and service, and is known around the world. The original restaurant is located in the tiny community of Casmalia, Calif., about 12 miles southwest of Santa Maria.

Good point, I missed that! There’s a press release on the Independent site.
Specials “started” May 1, no indication how long they’re good for. “The Ostini family will be offering some special promotions starting May 1st…”
    Link intentionally left out.

Wow last time we had company in town they wanted to eat there, on a scale of one to ten, ten being best it was a 7… disappointing and service in bar was poor.
