The Restaurant Guy is changing his name to “The Rest Guy” for at least the next week, perhaps longer. He’ll be on medical leave because of an injury that occurred over the weekend and won’t be updating the blog for the duration. If you have a restaurant news tip please post it as a comment here for others to read. See you soon.

More Thai Options:
Thought you would like to know that Ye Olde Butcher now sells Thai food as their sign now reads “Ye Olde Butcher Sandwiches and Thai Food”.
Spoke with the owner of the donut shop (Eller’s) this
morning and they told me that they took Ye Ole Buther Shop

Excellent food.
The Blaze n’ Blues truck is also on Helena behind the old
Pub. They have burgers, sliders, slow smoked tri-tip, pulled pork,
smoked dogs. They’re supposed to be there M-F, 11 am – 3 pm. I saw
them last week and asked about their food sources – they said
ingredients are sourced locally, organic, free-range as applicable.
FB page: https://www.facebook.com/blazen.blues I had one of their
pulled pork sliders at another event a while back and it was
delicious and a very ample portion for being a slider, $4. Really
friendly people are running it.

State & Fig Cafe

Christine,
Thank you for your kind comments! We always appreciate hearing from our guests, even more when they have a pleasant experience. We hope that the word spreads on brunch and dinner as well. It has been very difficult to get the good word out in the community. We thank you, and all of our other satisfied guests, who have given us a boost with positive reviews and word of mouth support! We truly appreciate it. Hope we see you soon!
