SPEAKING OF SEAFOOD

The Santa Barbara Sustainable Seafood Program invites you to join them for an evening of sensational and sustainable cuisine Thursday, October 18, 2012, 5:30 -7:30 p.m. at the Ty Warner Sea Center on Stearns Wharf. Experience ocean-friendly seafood at its best and enjoy wine tasting, sunset ocean views and a little food for thought. Meet local chefs and fisherman who are leading the way to a more sustainable future and discover how your tasty and healthy choices can protect the health of the ocean.

Food will be provided by Brophy Bros., Carlitos Cafe, Cava Restaurant, Coast, Community Seafood, The Cultured Abalone, Dos Carlitos Restaurant, Fresh and Easy Market, Gorgita Seafoods, The Jolly Oyster, Julienne, Market Forays, Michael’s Catering, Santa Barbara FisHouse, Santa Barbara Mariculture Company, SBCC School of Culinary Arts, Seagrass Restaurant, Sidecar Restaurant, Twenty-Four Blackbirds Chocolates, and UCSB Dining Services.
