Reader Geoff sent me this picture that shows a new sublease sign has appeared at the Snack Shack 801 State St which closed last Friday.

Already? Didn’t they just open a few months ago??
they’ll make more $$$ subleasing it than they did running a restaurant…an interesting business plan though…..
They should change a few letters around and bring Shake Shack to SB! Now that would be amazing!!
Good idea! I love shakes!
For sure. No doubt they would do well here. They are like The Habit, but have burgers that aren’t dried out hockey pucks (must say though I do enjoy their albacore, but the burgers are way overrated and poorly executed). and mmmm frozen custard…drool.
When they were first advertising it as “Snack Shack” I thought that they were going to be a small convienence store that included fresh fruits and veggies … IMHO I think this would have been a better business decision.
