The other day I was walking by Sam’s To Go on Hollister Ave near Fairview and noticed a guy working on the sign out front. I figured he was just changing out the light bulbs so I thought nothing of it. Apparently there was more going on than meets the eye. Reader Christine tells me that Sam’s To Go near Fairview is now Sam’s To U, and is no longer affiliated with the Sam’s To Go chain.

I believe they are from the Middle East too and have special order Middle Eastern food for pre ordering. Hopefully they can actually stock some stuff in the store as we need some more places in town that stock that kind of food besides IV Deli Mart or Zaytoon. The parking is in the back.
Correct. There is definitely a bigger story, and I will always support the location at Fairview and Hollister! They are fantastic. They have some Persian food available. I believe you just need to call in advance if you want something, but sometimes they have it available. My coworkers say its good.
This is the location that makes the Sam’s reputation. Delicious, standard deli sandwich, genuinely nice hard working owner and such a clean place…his high standards were a -he is lucky to be free of the association!reproach to the other units
