There is a benefit coming up for the Sustainable, Organic, Local (SOL) Food Festival. The benefit is on September 18th while the festival is on September 29th. For more details about it I present to you a few indented and italicized paragraphs:

SANTA BARBARA, CA. For the 3rd year, the Sustainable, Organic, Local (SOL) Food Festival will again be held in Plaza de Vera Cruz in downtown Santa Barbara, in partnership with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. The festival will highlight the best of the region’s food, farmers and engaged citizens as we seek to create a better food future. The festival will be held on Saturday, September 29th 2012 from 10am-6pm.

On, Tuesday, September 18th from 6-8pm, Santa Barbara Green Drinks will again host its September gathering as a benefit for the SOL Food Festival.

For the third consecutive year, the Lobero Theater will graciously open its patio  courtyard for this exciting fundraiser. Entry fee of $10 includes appetizers and one free beverage, with additional beverage sales going to SOL Food. Went last year and it seemed to be a poorly organized event. There now seem to be a food festival every other week in town and this one was kind of a glorified farmers’ market. One good thing about this event is you don’t have to purchse any ticket to go.
