Reader Ron tells me that chef Brian Parks no longer works at Coast Restaurant & Bar 31 W. Carrillo St. I called the eatery and was told that the new chef is James Siao.

We had the honor of tasting the new chefs cuisine at Fashion’s Night Out at Paseo Nuevo last night. It was delicious! He will be a great addition to The Canary!
