Reader Steve tells me that Eureka Burger, coming to Paseo Nuevo in the old Ruby’s Diner location next to California Pizza Kitchen, has a new sign on display indicating that the eatery will “open late summer 2012.”

Can’t wait to spend $20 for a burger!
Most expensive burger on their website is $14.95, in fact, most of them are 10 bucks. I’m sure there’s still plenty of places to get an overpriced burger since Elements closed its doors, but this place seems to fall right into the Santa Barbara price-point. I’ll refrain from judgement until trying it though.
Looks amazing!! We need a new great place unlike some of the overpriced with attitude Taverns near the Arlington area.
You had a completely different experience than I did, then.
its not $20… most expensive burger is only 15 and thats for bison…. most are around $11
Well, that took forever. I thought we heard about the Burger place coming there last year!
This is great. I hope they serve up a great gourmet burger.
I’m sure the place will be packed!! Although, serious burger aficionados have crusified the place. Perhaps they will take some heat off of the all too busy, Pizza Kitchen! In the 90′s it was great! Not much now. What’s the other new burger place moving into Paseo Nuevo?
I’ve been to the one in Redlands and it was awesome. We had one of the best burgers!!
Seems like a place like this will need experienced servers. Hopefully, they will hire smart, capable, and professional servers used to working with the public. Had a starbucks coffee last week on lower state……….really nice staff there. Hey, girls, if you are looking for a change…………just saying
I’m looking forward to trying the the food here, for me price is not a big deal…as long as the quality is in the taste…
