Nice way to publish a rumor but I thought you only reported them when the old trusty rumor machine cranked up and spit them out…..Now your phone receives them too?
The secret is Safe with me.
No Smartphone, so Smart*** what does it say? Thanks.
yeah.
Really?! So no one is going to translate? What is this, 3rd grade?!
I will keep it on the downlow. I hope the rumor comes to fruition as I live nearby.
Boo. Not everyone has a “smart” phone. Gee whiz.
LOL, John, you made me finally give in and download scanner software (Scan is the one that came recommended, and it worked great…free, too). Anyway, hope the rumor is true.
I have a Palm phone so I couldn’t look it up with a fancy gizmo. But I copied the image into the program.

Now I know the truth.
At the risk of sounding totally insensitive, the QR scanning fad is really annoying. It’s a technology fad that only seems to be used by people over 40 who think it’s way more cool than it actually is. While i’m sure that many people enjoy it, the rest of us just want to come here and read about local restaurants without jumping through any hurdles.
Fun!
That said, it may be time to consider a new decision about the direction this conversation is taking……
I love that place, it would bring a lot of traffic to an otherwise dead location. But I can see it now…All of the “corporate chain” hating Santa Barbara people are going to be up in arms! Oh the humanity!!! I really hope that this rumor is true!!!
Really?! So no one is going to translate? What is this, 3rd grade?!
Sorry, you have to be over 40 to know:-) Seriously though, John asked in the body of the message for us not to disclose this fresh information and given the choice I think I’ll respect his wishes, that’s the way we do it in the Goodland.
Right, Tony. It would be a fresh use of that location, but a strange choice, in a way, I think. But, would be welcomed by us over 40s, no doubt.
Tony & Pam~ Don’t be fresh! I’m sure, given the choice, VT would do the same =)
It’s not that hard to figure out, since someone included the link to the decoder. Think of it as a little puzzle to exercise your brain!
