Gary Lynd, former owner and general manager of Peabodys and State & A Bar and Grill, is the new manager of Coast Restaurant & Bar at 31 W. Carrillo St. Lynd brings over 30 years of Santa Barbara restaurant insider experience to the plate. Lynd is also an avid supporter of local non-profit and professional organizations. He is affiliated with the Downtown Organization Board of Directors, the Designated Drive Program (DDP) in Association with California Highway Patrol, Lobero and Granada Theatres, the Santa Barbara Cancer Foundation, CASA, the Boys & Girls Club and many others.
