The Santa Barbara Daily Sound has an article today about the closure of city parking Lot 10 (at Anacapa & Ortega) and how it is negatively affecting nearby restaurants. The four-story, 546-space garage has been undergoing a seismic retrofit since February. The article mentions several restaurants that have experienced a drop-off in sales including Arch Rock Fish, Blush, Paradise Cafe and The Habit. Many other businesses are affected as well. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to go downtown to the region near Lot 10 and eat, drink and be merry.
