HAPPY HOUR HOUSEWIVES

Last night I joined Santa Barbara’s famous Happy Hour Housewives as they checked out Killer B BBQ and Bar at 718 State St. To the right is a picture of “City Wife,” “Party Wife” and “Wine Wife” along side the friendly founders of Killer B’s. During my visit to Killer B’s I discovered a new appetizer, the BBQ Slider Trifecta, that now makes my top-five favorite appetizers in Santa Barbara. The price is $7.99 except during happy hour (3pm-7pm Monday - Friday) when it is available for just $4. It is truly amazing.

Later, while still  downtown, I tried my new iPad 2 “on the road” at Cafe Zoma and was able to get a significant amount of real work done. It appears that the iPad 2 will indeed replace my laptop for tasks I do most frequently. And, with the LogMeIn iPad app, I have full screen control of my office computer at SantaBarbara.com World-Wide Headquarters (an upstairs guest room at my home in Goleta) in addition to screen control of the dozen servers at my air-conditioned, generator backed-up, server farm that SantaBarbara.com depends on behind the scenes.

    So, the BBQ still sucks?

Could not have said it any better SL…They belong in the O.C. !!

I am glad I am not the only that cringes at the sight of these women and their awful names for each other. Really, I am glad they’re able to get out and do things from their husbands, but I don’t need to know about it, let alone actually care. I don’t relate to their lives, attitude or opinions about food. Sorry, I’ll skip over this sort of review/detail… and hope I learn more about Killer B’s actual BBQ in the future.

Totally agree with SL! Maybe they are hoping to get picked up by Bravo. What a way to name yourself, get some self esteem!
