SPEAKING OF HIGH SCHOOL REUNIONS

I am on my Santa Barbara High School reunion committee and we are looking for a pre-reunion gathering spot this summer on Friday night, July 22, 2011. I am searching for a place in downtown Santa Barbara that can accomodate 100-200 people, has a no-host bar and, optionally, hors d’oeuvres. We can either do a buy-out or perhaps join the regular Friday night customers. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

I had a large party at El Paseo that accommodated my criteria: downtown location, large area, full bar, casual, easy appetizer options, ambiance.

    Zodo’s!

I have been there for several corporate parties. People have something to do. It’s active and people react to each other. Standing around at a grip and grin is grim. Hors d’ oeuvres are hefty and drinks hardy. It is noisy. Children can bowl and make it a family gathering as well.

We had an event at The Savoy and it was amazing. They have a 3rd floor VIP area that might be able to accommodate that many People if they move some couches around.

If the Savoy doesn’t work out try Blush. Take the patio by storm!

You should do your reunion at Ruth’s Chris. They have the room to accomodate that many people and Friday is the busiest, most happening night!!!
