Right next to Santa Barbara City College, the Shoreline Beach Cafe first and foremost has great food.

When you add great food to an unbelievably great location, Shoreline Beach Cafe offers a local dining experience second to none.

I like to go to Shoreline Beach Cafe on Sunday mornings for breakfast. I bring the newspaper to read and usually pull up a table on the sand at about 10am. The lunch menu starts at 11am which is also when the locals start packing in. My favorite breakfast here is the Country Scramble with eggs, veggies and bacon mixed to perfection with home fries on the side. Be sure to add a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Now, take your shoes off, put on your sun glasses, tilt your chair back and enjoy the fresh ocean air and a picturesque seaside sensation. While you're eating you can watch the sail boats coming out of the nearby Santa Barbara Harbor. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Come see for yourself!

Directions: take the 101 freeway to Garden street and head south to the ocean. Turn right and drive about a mile to the Santa Barbara Harbor. A few hundred yards past the harbor entrance you will be come to a stop light. Santa Barbara City college is on your right, the Shoreline Beach Cafe is on your left. If you are lucky, a free parking spot might be open in front. If not, there is a large paid parking lot just to the right.
