The Continuing Education Division of SBCC
is an adult education programs. There are lots of interesting
classes that you can take for free or at low cost. They offer
several kinds of classes. So, if you want to study something
interesting as well as English, it is a really good way to learn
and meet a lot of people. Some of the classes are very popular,
so you have to hurry class enrollment. Most of classes are
offered for free, but some classes like crafts (Jewelry making)
and computer courses require some lab fee or material fee. Most
of the classes are in Wake center or Schott center. Wake center
is located at 300 N Turnpike Rd in Santa Barbara(805-964-6853).
If you want to take the MTD bus, you can get 11 bus. The SBCC
Schott Center is located at 310 West Padre Street. Padre street
runs parallel to Mission on block to the northwest (toward
Cottage Hospital).

UCSB
Adventure & Leisure program
UCSB also offers various kinds
of outdoor activities such as ocean kayaking, rock climbing, and
indoor climbing wall, scuba diving, backpacking, canoeing, and
camping as well as indoor sports like martial arts, yoga,
fitness classes. You have to pay for the classes. The fee range
is usually from $30-$200 for one quarter.
