In Santa Barbara, there are lots of interesting places to shop. Below are the popular shopping places for the students in Santa Barbara.
Hollister Rd. at Stroke Rd., Goleta There are big malls like Costco, Home depot, Sportmart, Linen & Things, Borders (bookstore), Staples (office supplies), CompUSA (computers), Albertsons (food). There are also several restaurants, a Starbucks coffee shop, a movie theater and a bank (Santa Barbara Bank Trust).
651 Paseo Nuevo (State St.), Santa Barbara This is the largest shopping center downtown Santa Barbara and is a popular hangout downtown.
Downtown Santa Barbara, there are many malls like Macy's and Nordstrom.
3805 State Street, Santa Barbara. Includes many clothing stores, Sears and Robinsons-May. This mall is in halfway between UCSB and downtown Santa Barbara.
Corner of La Cumbre Road and State Street, Santa Barbara. This is a tiny mall and does not have many (if any) places to shop.
Calle Real between Fairview Rd. and Patterson Ave., Goleta.
