The Santa Barbara Polo
& Racquet Club has their beautiful facilities here in
Carpinteria. If you like horses, sports, hockey,
basketball or soccer, you stand a good chance of loving
Polo.
Each Sunday afternoon
(except for winter), you can attend a game even if you are
not a member of the club. The fans even get involved
at half time by going onto the field and stomping divots.
Without
a doubt, it's a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
If you have never seen Polo, much less played it, make
sure to visit their website. They have a great
section on the rules and theories behind the game.
Particulars
Polo games are held each Sunday through the Spring, Summer
and Fall.

Admission: $10.00 per person
Late each summer, the Pacific Coast Open really brings the
field to life.
The PCO Game Times: 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm

Directions:
Northbound:
Take the 101N to the Santa Claus Lane exit. At the stop
sign, turn right and take an immediate left onto Via Real.
Continue North 1/2 mile
to the entrance of SBPRC, which is on your right.
Southbound:
Take the 101S from Santa Barbara, through
Montecito and Summerland. South of Summerland, take
the Padaro Lane exit. At the stop sign, turn left
and go back over the 101 to the stop sign. Turn right on Via Real and
drive approximately 1 mile to the entrance for SBPRC, which is on your left.
