AUSB Symposium on Healthy Aging April 19 & 20 Date: 4/19/2013 The AUSB Masters in Clinical Psychology Program is pleased to announce a Symposium on Healthy Aging Friday, April 19, 2013 4 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, April 20, 2013 9 am – 5 pm. The demand for trained professionals to respond to the psychological and emotional needs of older adults is growing as this population increases in unprecedented numbers. This Symposium on Healthy Aging is designed for anyone interested in the physical, social, and psychological aspects of later stage adulthood. Participants will learn skills to support optimal life quality for themselves, clients and their families as they move through the ages. Multidisciplinary perspectives will be offered that focus on preventative, wellness and holistic approaches that considers the social, emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being of individuals and families into later stage adulthood.
