We have had to reschedule this workshop several times due to the disasters that ravaged our community.
We are very excited to now present this important BizArts which will address the pertinence of understanding the uniqueness of  artists' taxes!
It is imperative that artists understand how the IRS looks at an artist's business. To avoid being audited by the IRS artists need to know how tax law affects them. To comply an artist must know if their practice is a business or a hobby. We will help artists understand this distinction, and what it means to be "self-employed".

Diana Castro is the Founder and President of Legacy Tax Services, a preparation and planning firm. An IRS approved Enrolled Agent, she is the principal broker/owner of Legacy Lending Services, Inc. a mortgage firm in Ventura and has been a financial professional for over 20 years. Ms. Castro is also a best-selling author, has been featured in books and articles and led seminars and educational workshops on topics including: tax strategies, wealth management, and home buying.
