Food Good, Nice Owner, 3/23/2010

The Owner is the cook here I believe. The food was good. He converted the house from his mother's house I believe to start the restaurant a long time ago. No real parking except street parking(try around the corner). Looks like he handles money and food at the same time but maybe he washed his hands, I did not see. More of a local hispanic neighborhood eatery I think and worth a try if on San Andres. Varied menu. Self Serve soda out. Plenty of seating.

DIRTY
Reviewer: Sarah

I should have known when I walked in and no one else was eating there and looked up at the painted plywood menu board this was not going to be worth it. The entire place was filthy: despite the fact the place was empty there were abandoned tables that had not been cleared or wiped down, the floor was nasty dirty in the kitchen. The chips were stale and the salsa not exciting. At this point I am completely grossed out! I ordered a breakfast burrito as a safe bet. It was bland and edible. I could not have left fast enough. Don't eat here. (My recommendations are Los Arroyos, El Bajio.)

It's tasty, close to home and the price is right! Don't expect a fresh cóctel campechena de mariscos a la Acapulco ...but it's good. ;-)

fish tacos and family
Reviewer: Johann Sabbath

The beer is cold and the fish tacos are excellent. The atmosphere and people make me feel at home. A few years ago, before Su Casa accepted credit cards, I ordered a meal and realized I wasn't carrying any cash. I offered walk down the street to the ATM, but the owner wouldn’t hear it. He handed me my receipt and told me I could pay him the next time I was in the neighborhood. From then on, when ever I’m in the neighborhood, I always hit up Su Casa for a fish taco.

I love this restaurant! The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly. Along with La Supa Rica, this is one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants.

the best food in town
the food is exelent and prices are o.k I enjoy goin there for lunch whe I´m in town food is really good

go for fish tacos
Su Casa makes the best fish tacos in town and their rice & beans are delicious and perfectly seasoned. I don´t eat meat (just fish) so I guess my opinion of a taqueria isn´t based on the usual menu choices. But Su Casa is one of my favorite taquerias in town.
And seriously, who complains about a taqueria being "dirty"? It´s just a taqueria, what do you expect when it´s mostly patio dining?

You´ve got to be kidding!
The food was not very good. The place was dirty and empty at lunch time, not a ringing endorsement for any restaurant. The prices were average. It is really not much of anything.
