Refreshing, wholesome, delicious yogurt--a taste treat!, 9/24/2009
Reviewer: Noelle Clearwater from Santa Barbara, CA
The yogurt is wonderful and fresh. It tastes like it was just made and it is not overly sweet. It is wonderful with fresh fruit and other healthy toppings. I would have it for breakfast with fruit and granola--a regular offering there. It is refreshing and can even stand in as a meal. The service is friendly and the portion sizes are generous. The fruit is extremely fresh and is often being cut for your order. I love the Mango and plain together with kiwi, strawberry and banana on top. It is so delicious. I would definitely recommend this store over others. It is worth the price to get good, healthy wholesome real yogurt that isn't filled with sugar and other additives.

Yummy Yogurt Crepes!!, 8/25/2009
Reviewer: Val from Santa Barbara, CA
I Love Rockin' Yogurt! Their yogurt is the freshest compared to all the shops in town. I love the strawberry yogurt the best which Mimi the owner adds real strawberries. Tonight I tried the new addition to the menu: Crepes! They were wonderful! The crepes were not overly sweet and had a nice light crispy edge. I like how it was served in a paper cone, so it would be easy to eat on the go. And the crepe was large and the toppings as usual generous. The combination I tried was plain yogurt, strawberries and added whipped cream. I can't wait to go back to try another combination.

Best frozen yogurt in town!!, 7/30/2009

We love this place and are addicted! I really love the mango flavor and my boyfriend loves the strawberry. The toppings are always really fresh and sometimes we even see them chopping them in front of us. Best of all is the staff. The couple that owns it are really nice and know us since we go in so much. They always say hi to us and this is something you definitely do not get at the chain yogurt places. Based on my experiences, this is definitely the best yogurt place in town. Keep supporting local businesses!

My only Froz.Yo destination in SB, 6/5/2009

I've tried some of the others but Rockin Yogurt has the best quality around. You can get cheaper product elsewhere but that's true of almost anything. Quality is more important than price to me - and honestly the price difference isn't that extreme. I just filled my frequent purchase card two nights ago, time to get some free yogurt :-) EMI

they definitely are more consistent with the flavor of their yogurt. I hope they stay in business with so many competition in sb now.

Best Frozen Yogurt!, 4/6/2009
Reviewer: Nicole from Santa Barbara, CA
This place is simply the best. I really didn't understand why all these yogurt places were popping up but I get it after trying the frozen yogurt here. The price is amazing ($5 for a medium w/up to to yogurt flavors and 3 toppings!) and the service is unbeatable. They are REALLY fast and VERY genrous with their toppings! You actually have to be careful because there are so many toppings they will spill out of the cup. The plain tart is the best, the strawberry yogurt is pretty darn tasty and the green tea was only ok. I went here two times this weekend and plan to go back many more!

Dont go to Pinkberry! Go here!!, 3/10/2009
Reviewer: Candy from Santa Barbara, CA
The yogurt here tastes more fresh than Pinkberry and not as loaded up with sugar. Support the local business, they're better anyway :)

Great! Way better than Pinkberry., 2/3/2009
Reviewer: E Ragsdale from Santa Barbara, CA
Rockin' Yogurt has more flavors and better prices than Pinkberry (further up the street). Plus, it's the first pure yogurt restaurant on lower State St! All around great service and yogurt.

My wife and I go about once a day and the staff are always very welcoming. I prefer the Mango yogurt while my wife prefers the Plain Tart and the toppings are always fresh. Its a perfect snack while shopping at the farmers market. Highly recommended.

Pinkberry ain't got nothin' on Rockin' Yogurt
Reviewer: Erica Pflueger from Mill Valley, CA
I live in the Bay Area and stopped in S.B. on the way home from L.A. and just happened upon this FANTASTIC yogurt shop. I'm always complaining to my husband that no one has good frozen yogurt anymore. Where we live the frozen yogurt frenzy has not quite hit yet, not like in L.A. so when we stumbled upon Rockin' yogurt, they totally rocked my world with their strawberry yogurt!!! SO good and tangy and perfect, not like Pinkberry, which I experienced after Rockin' Yogurt. Did not live up to the hype in my opinion. Anyway, I'm so extremely distraught that there is no such yogurt to be found where I live...so far. Rockin' Yogurt people, if you're reading this, will you please, please open a store up here in the Bay? And preferably before I have this baby, who, incidentally is to blame for this insane craving! Thanks!

Way Better than PinkBerry!
Reviewer: Alicia from Santa Barbara, CA
I love Rockin' Yogurt! Every time I go to the downtown area, I must have a plain tart froyo with "fresh" berries. It's so addicting and much healthier than coldstone's. The owner is so nice, she is always helpful and very generous when it comes to the toppings. So far the staff has been nice to me. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a healthy, satisfying dessert.

Awesome and friendly
Reviewer: Adrienne Gonzales from Santa Barbara
I actually like this place better than Pinkberry and a lot of the other frozen yogurt places in LA. I think they have an awesome topping selection and their yogurt is more creamy than icy. Plus the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Great yogurt, a little stingy though
Reviewer: Shaun from Santa Barbara, CA
First, I think this place tastes just as good as the LA places (pinkerry, yogurtberry, etc.). If you like that kind of yogurt (I LOVE tart) then you'll like this place. What I dislike is when a yogurt place gets stingy - measuring how much they give you. Don't get me wrong - they have to run a business - but this places errors on the side of caution. For instance - sometimes they swirl the cup for you here - and they leave the center EMPTY! If they filled that with fruit - then it would be okay - but its EMPTY! It appears that they REALLY try to cut corners in the store - and that aggravates me. The price is right though - medium 3 topping yogurt is $4.95 last I was there. It will be interesting to see what happens when Pinkberry opens up just two blocks north.

Great! Almost like having Pinkberry here!!!
Reviewer: Morgan from Santa Barbara, CA
I had tried Pinkberry a few months ago down in OC and I totally fell in love! Not only did it have that tart yummy flavor, but it also was LOW CALORIES! =) I think it's something like 140 calories for the plain which is amazing when it feels like you're eating way more than that. Anyway, was looking around town for a frozen yogurt place that might be similar to Pinkberry and voila! Rockin' Yogurt had just opened up on State St.! I tried it out, and it is slightly different than Pinkberry, but it is definitely pretty good and I love going there for my afternoon snack quite often. Just remember, for those that are looking for a more "ice creamy" flavor, this is not your place. But it is well worth the try and if you like the tartness of italian frozen yogurt, then you'll love this place like I do. They have excellent service too.

SOOO GOOD!
Reviewer: Daniel M from Santa Barbara

Repeat Customer
Reviewer: Cathy from Goleta, CA
According to my receipts, I've been 4 times in the past 9 days. This stuff makes getting out of bed in the morning worth it. It doesn't suck at all. The service is always friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for anything more!
