Not far from Santa Barbara, the wine country, Solvang and the ocean, Lake Cachuma is a destination park in its own right.  The lake is a reservoir, so water access is limited to boating, but there is a pool in the summer, as well as a Play Area, excellent hiking and fishing, and Nature Center.

Amenities and features

• 550 campsites, 90 with full electrical, water and sewer hookups, and 38 with electrical and water hookups, can accommodate any size tent or RV.
• Each campsite contains a picnic table and BBQ pit
• Showers, restrooms and water are nearby. RV dump station is also available.

• Coin laundry
• Children's playgrounds
• Nature Center, fishing piers and hiking trails
• The Marina is open year-round and sells bait and tackle, fuel and fishing licenses and a snack bar & grill.
• Family Fun Center includes a swimming pool, video games, miniature golf, bike rentals, and snack bar, and is open daily during the summer.

Directions:

From Santa Barbara take Highway 101 to the San Marcos Pass exit, Highway 154. The park entrance is about 20 miles from this point. From the north, take Highway 101 to Highway 154; Cachuma Lake is about 20 miles east.
